Western Industries is closing its plastics parts production facility in Watertown. The company informed the state that 85 employees will be affected by the plant closure. The layoffs are scheduled to begin in mid to late July and will end by late October. The South Central Wisconsin Workforce Development Board will reach out to Western Industries and affected workers to provide rapid response services. The program helps companies and worker representatives develop and implement a transition plan.
