There is now a new public intoxication ordinance in the village of Ashwaubenon. The new rules were unanimously passed by the village board, and noted a fine of between $200 and $400 for violators. The board noted that they are not tring to deter people from having a good time, but instead are trying to save officer’s time by limiting the need for them to take care of individuals who become overly intoxicated.
