The Ray Nitschke and Walnut Street Bridges in Green Bay have received a colorful makeover. The city has installed an LED lighting system, which can change to multiple different colors. The lights will be used in a similar fashion to the ones on several national landmarks and buildings, and will commemorate holidays, or other momentous occasions. The city has also voiced plans to use team colors for local high schools, and potentially visiting NFL teams. The lights will be fully functional by mid-to-late June.
