The Milwaukee Brewers exploded for seven runs in the fourth inning while taking a 9-2 win over Arizona Wednesday afternoon.   Travis Shaw pounded a three-run homer and Jesus Aguilar returned to the lineup to drive in three more.  Tyler Saladino also homered, helping Brent Suter pick up his fourth victory.  Manager Craig Counsell Praise dhis team’s overall performance.


It was the seventh straight loss for the Diamondbacks. The sweep of the home series expands Milwaukee’s N-L Central Division lead to three-and-a-half games over the Pirates and Cardinals, and adds to the best 50 game start in franchise history.


The New York Mets come to town Thursday night to start a four-game series at Miller Park.  Zach Davies will be activated from the disabled list to take the mound for Milwaukee.
