Twenty-five years after he was killed in a plane crash, Greenfield native Alan Kulwicki has been voted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Kulwicki will be inducted next January, along with drivers Jeff Gordon and Davey Allison, and owners Jack Roush and Roger Penske. Kulwicki competed only seven years before he died at the age of 38, but he was NASCAR’s reigning champion at the time. He won five races and 24 poles in 207 starts.
