A 63-year-old driver has been found not guilty of two counts of reckless endangerment and two counts of reckless driving in a 2015 incident. Two professional cyclists accused John Dohm of using his car to hit one of them, causing a chain reaction crash. The bike riders said that happened shortly after a confrontation on the side of the road. Inconsistencies in the testimony of Joseph Maloney and Maxwell Ackerman played a role in Thursday’s acquittal. Maloney told the court he was hurt so badly he couldn’t ride a bicycle for more than a week — although a photo posted on Facebook showed him riding the very next day.
