The Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors has approved a referendum question on legalizing marijuana. After Thursday’s 15-to-one vote, the question will be placed on the November general election ballot. Voters would be asked if they approve letting adults 21 and older “engage in the personal use of marijuana, while also regulating commercial marijuana-related activities, and imposing a tax on the sale of marijuana.” No Midwestern states are among the 10 which already allow recreational marijuana use.
