St. Gregory Catholic School in St. Nazianz will be holding a celebration on Saturday, June 16th to commemorate the 134 year history of the school. Members of the school and parish decided earlier in April to close the school due to dwindling enrolment numbers. Festivities will begin with a 4:00 Mass at St. Gregory Parish with Bishop David Ricken presiding and several alumni serving in various ministries. A reception and social will take place in the school immediately following Mass. Memories will be exchanged and historical displays will include many photos and school memorabilia, including items being shared by alumni and community members.
