Officials with Taiwan-based Foxconn Technology say they remain committed to the 10-billion dollar manufacturing plant in southeastern Wisconsin. They rejected a published report the company is thinking about reducing its initial investment by making smaller display screens for electronics like cell phones, instead of televisions. Foxconn says the report is “not based on any facts.” It has issued a news release saying there have been no charges made for the facility in Mount Pleasant.
