Legislators representing citizens near the Highway 23 corridor from Plymouth to Fond du Lac are urging constituents to attend an upcoming Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) public hearing. State Senator Devin LeMahieu out of Oostburg, along with several others from around the state noted strong attendance is needed to continue to demonstrate the overwhelming public support for a four-lane expansion of Highway 23.The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM on Tuesday June 19th at the University of Fond du Lac, located at 400 University Drive. The new public hearing by WisDOT is required in order for the federal government to give final approval for the project.
