Roncalli High School in Manitowoc raised over $1000 for Holiday House of Manitowoc County and InCourage Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center in their Mr. Roncalli Spirit Competition earlier this month. This decade old competition is run by the student government to raise awareness and monetary support for local issues. Simeon Newton was declared the winner by a panel of judges including Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels, who awarded Simeon with a key to the City. The school then awarded a check to Jason Granger, the fund development and community relations specialist for InCourage.
