On the way to his enshrinement ceremony at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, running back Adrian Peterson wouldn’t mind a stop in Green Bay. He listed the Packers as a place he’d like to play during an E-S-P-N appearance last week. He had some good games against the Packers in his career and coach Mike McCarthy has often spoken of his admiration for the talented star. On the other hand, Peterson is 33 years old and likely doesn’t run that four-four 40-yard time anymore. He hasn’t been consistently effective since 2015. The Packers are likely content with their running back duo of Jamaal Williams and Aaron Jones, who were so effective last season as rookies.
