Appleton Police were on their game yesterday, as they arrested two suspects in connection to a bank robbery that took place earlier in the day. The robbery was reported at around 4:00 PM, and took place at the Chase Bank on the 200 block of West College Avenue. The caller told police that the robbers were a man and woman, and had taken note of the license plate number. An officer spotted the vehicle on the 900 block of West Grant Street and captured the pair after a short foot chase. 31 year old Wesley Cox of Brillion is now facing several charges. Police are recommending charges of resisting and robbery of a financial institution. The woman was interviewed by police and later released. Cox is expected to appear in Outagamie County Court later today.
