The Green Bay Police Department is advising residents to lock up their bikes, as summer draws ever closer. In a news releases, they stated, “We encourage kids to use our great parks and we want parents to remind their children to lock up their bikes at the parks and/or at home. Often times, our investigations reveal that bikes were left unlocked and unattended before they were stolen.” Since the beginning of the month, the GBPD is reporting that they have already investigated 12 stolen bike cases. The bikes they do located that cannot be returned to the owner will be auctioned off this Saturday from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brown County Fairgrounds
