A Junction City man will spend three years in prison for firing shots at a neighbor. Henry Kamniski entered a no contest plea to charges of second-degree recklessly endangering safety as a hate crime and one count of child pornography possession. The child porn was found when police searched Kaminski’s home. His neighbors are Hmong. After the 81-year-old retired worker from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point fired three shots at the neighbor, a Portage County deputy came under fire as he drove up. Kaminski engaged officers in a standoff until his daughter convinced him to surrender. Kaminski was first angered by the Hmong children playing in his yard.
