June is Dairy Month, and there are several ways you can celebrate with local farmers. The first is by attending the Breakfast on the Farms in the surrounding counties. The Manitowoc County iteration is this Sunday, at United Vision Dairy, located at 123434 Tannery Road in Mishicot. Food will be served from 8:00 AM-Noon at a cost of $7 for adults, $4 for children ae 4-10, and children under 4 are free. The Kewaunee County Breakfast on the Farm will be held on Sunday, June 17th at the Junion Homestead Farm at E1939 CTH K in Casco, while the Sheboygan County Dairy Breakfast on the farm will be at the Rockland Dairy at W4705 County Road D on June 16th. There are also two Ice Cream, based events. First, Sundae on the Farm will held on June 24th from 11 am to 3 pm at the Matt-n-Ney Holstein Farm at 23226 West Hillcrest Road in Brillion, while Sundae Thursday will be in Two Rivers on June 21st. Kemps Ice Cream Sundaes will be served from 5:30 to 8 pm for only 25 cents. Stop on out o any of these events to support local farmers.
