Administrators at Fox Valley Lutheran High School in Appleton say it will cost up to $250,000 to repair the damage done to its football and soccer fields in March. A reward has been increased to $10,000 for information about the vandals who dug deep gouges in the turf by using a jeep. It’s possible school teams will have to come up with a different place to play next year. The fields will have to be re-graded and re-seeded this summer and they still may not be useable by the fall. The school’s activities director is looking for an alternative site for football home games and that might mean games will have to be moved from Friday nights if the new location is shared with another school.
