The Annual Manitowoc County Breakfast on the Farm took place at United Vision Dairy in Mishicot on Sunday. The event is being touted as a success, after just shy of 5,000 people swarmed the farm, owned and operated by Jerry and Marilyn Neuser. There were a couple individuals on hand from our State Government as well. Governor Scott Walker donned a pair of gloves, and helped serve eggs to hungry guests, and State Rep. Andre Jacque also made an appearance. Children and adults alike took part in the tour of the facility, which included the feed storage, two large barns, which was upgraded to include a cooling wind tunnel, and a calf barn, where one new baby calf was born during the event. The Breakfast on the Farm is a yearly event organized by the Manitowoc County Dairy Promotion and the Manitowoc County Farm Bureau.
