Manitowoc Police are recommending charges of making terrorist threats for a 68- year-old man that said he’d come back to a local bank with a gun. A police report says Larue L. Bain entered Wells Fargo Bank late yesterday afternoon saying he had $1,500 in an IRA that he had transferred from his debit account. When the bank manager told him there was only three cents available and to try back the next day, Bain allegedly said “I’m sick of this. I’m going to start robbing convenience stores and banks”. Before leaving he added that he’d come back with a gun if the money wasn’t transferred into the account. Bain was located in Shawano County later in the evening and taken into custody. His hometown was not stated in the report and a court appearance has yet to be scheduled.
