Captain David Vorpahl of the Manitowoc Police Department graduated from the Wisconsin Command College last week. The Command College is a nationally accredited leadership and management development training program, where law enforcement leaders learn how to better serve their communities over a six week program. According to Chief Nick Reimer, the MPD aims to have all of their patrol and detective supervisors experience an administrative program such as the Wisconsin Command College, to give them all the tools they need to successfully command their respective divisions. He stated, “We feel this training is critical to accomplishing our mission of being committed to providing excellent police service and an unrelenting pursuit of justice, while maintaining order and securing a safe environment for everyone.” Lt. Jeremy Kronforst has been selected for the next session, starting September 10th.
