Women in Management, Inc., the network for professional women in Wisconsin communities, announces their rebranded image and name as of July 1, 2018.
Professional Women’s Connection will be the catalyst into the future as women seek new opportunities to learn and network with one another in today’s ever-evolving workforce. The chapters of the organization in Fond du Lac, the Fox Cities, Manitowoc, Oshkosh, Ripon/Green Lake, and Sheboygan will implement the new brand beginning July 1. The mission of Professional Women’s Connection reflects the intentions of this new group, as it states: “Developing leadership qualities in women by providing networking and learning opportunities through the exchange of knowledge and experiences.”
Professional Women’s Connection will likewise see a change in leadership on July 1. Lisa Hartman, current Executive Board president of the organization from the Sheboygan chapter, will turn over the reigns to Sarah Spang, who is also incoming president of the Fond du Lac chapter.
“Women in Management has helped me shape my leadership skills and given me the opportunity to meet some amazing women,” said Hartman. “However it is time to bring new life to this organization. As with all companies or organizations, we must all look to new ways of finding new clients or members and creating new pathways. Our rebranding and renewed enthusiasm will do just that. It has been a pleasure to serve as president the last two years and help bring this organization to this point.”
“Being part of this organization has allowed me to open up and find the inner strength I have always had to be an effective leader in my community,” states Spang. “With the responsibilities of coordinating this new rebrand, taking over the presidency of the Fond du Lac chapter from the amazing Melissa Schmidt, and taking over for Lisa after her tremendous leadership – all on July 1 – I want to encourage all women to check out a chapter near them and learn what we have to offer.”
Those interested in joining a chapter near them or finding out more are encouraged to visit the current website, wimiwi.org, or pwcwi.org as the refreshed brand is rolled out. The chapters are open to women of all industries, leadership levels, and ages from college on up.
