A 27-year-old Manitowoc woman and a 35-year-old Manitowoc man were taken into custody yesterday afternoon following execution of a search warrant by Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit Investigators on the city’s southside.
Manitowoc County Sheriff Deputy Inspector Jason Orth says multiple law enforcement agencies searched a residence in the 1000 block of South 20th Street as a result of an ongoing drug investigation.
The 27-year-old female was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamines, felony bail jumping and possession of drug paraphernalia while the male suspect was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant.
Metro Drug continues their investigation with additional arrests anticipated. They encourage citizens to report any suspicious drug activity in their neighborhoods and remain vigilant of their surroundings at all times.
