The Sheboygan Police Department offering ALICE training to businesses in the city. ALICE stands for Alert, Lock-Down, Inform, Counter & Evacuate, and is a way to react to an active shooter situation. In a news release, Sargent Andy Kundinger stated, “Unfortunately, violent intruder events have become more prevalent in our society, and because of this, we have worked closely with the Sheboygan Area School District to develop violent Intruder training for all Sheboygan schools.” This training will be conducted bi-annually and is open to the public; however, pre-registration will be required. Class size will be limited to 50 participants. The first class will be held August 8th, at Sheboygan South High School.
