For quite some time, there has been a civil outcry for the City of Sturgeon Bay to level several dirt piles that sit outside the Graystone Castle Bar. The developer of the land, who claims ownership of the dirt, has battled with the city to leave them be, but the Common Council has voted to have the piles flattened out. While this is a big step, and citizens are happy with the news, they remain skeptical, as it has been all talk for quite some time. As of now there is no scheduled timeline for the project, a responsibility that falls on the City Engineer.
