Walter A. “Wally” Kiesow, age 85, of the Town of Liberty, passed away Friday, August 3, 2018 at home surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran church, town of Liberty. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Gregory Pope with burial to follow services at the church cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
Survivors include his wife: Gloria Kiesow, Valders; his children: Michael (Karen) Kiesow, St. Nazianz; Margie (Ronald) Hacker, Manitowoc; Mark (Darlene) Kiesow, Valders; Merrie (Gary) Tapani, MI; Michelle Peterson, Manitowoc; Mardelle (Dale) Christel, Kiel; Mona (Karl) Hansen, Valders; Marty (Lisa) Kiesow, St. Nazianz; 15 grandchildren: Mike Kiesow, Jr. (special friend Stacey), Lisa Kiesow, Tanya (Patrick) Bennett, Tara (David) Mellstrom, Sean (Abbie) Hacker, Andrew (Jackie) Kiesow, Chad (Becky) Martell, Max Christel (fiancée Andrea Manke), Dana Christel, Alex Christel (fiancée Brianna Faber), Brooke Hansen, Breanna Hansen, Desirae Kiesow, Joshua Kiesow, Benjamin Kiesow; 16 great grandchildren: Alyssa, Haviar, Sophia, Hayden, Mykenna, Marshall, Mikaela, Zetta, Isabella, Arya, Harrison, Dakota, Delaney, Lauren, Alexa, Adam; one sister: Evelyn Gruendemann, West Bend; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wally was also preceded in death by a grandson Kevin Kiesow, two great grandchildren Nicolle & Lindsay, a brother and sister-in-law Henry & Helen Kiesow, one sister Mary Ann Kiesow and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bill Gruendemann, Arlet & Evelyn Ott, Anita & Norman Gutknecht and Elroy Ott.
