Germaine A. Hall, age 95 of Manitowoc, died early Saturday morning, September 1, 2018 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, with her loving family at her side.
Germaine was born on July 30, 1923 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Arthur and Regina (Lang) Meister. She attended local area schools and graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1941. On March 27, 1952 Germaine married Samuel J. Hall in Peshtigo. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2013. She worked as a machine operator at the Tinsel Factory and was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Manitowoc. Germaine enjoyed crafts, puzzle books and knitting. She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be sadly missed.
Germaine is survived by her seven children and their spouses: Marie (Thomas) Hall, Manitowoc; Joseph (Barbara) Hall, Manitowoc; Corinne (Thomas) Ayotte, Valders; William Hall, Manitowoc; John (Barb) Hall, Manitowoc; Michael (Patsy) Hall, Manitowoc; Patrick (Lori) Hall, Appleton; one step-son: Richard Hall, Manitowoc; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren: 3 great-great-grandchildren: nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Regina Meister; her husband: Samuel J. Hall; one son: Charles Lee Hall: three sisters and three brothers-in-law: Lucille (Ted) Kraemer; Vivian (Ed) Fargo; Jane (Alfred) Stasiek; one brother and sister-in-law: Arthur (Edna) Meister; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law: William (Jeanne) Hall.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 6, 2018 at St. James Episcopal Church, 434 North 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Diane Murray will officiate. Entombment will follow at Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call on Thursday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
