2018 Valders High School graduate Trevor Wenzel had a most impressive collegiate running debut over the weekend. Wenzel crossed the tape first in helping the Milwaukee Men’s Cross Country team to a dominant showing at Green Bay Saturday. Trevor finished the 5000 meter run in a time of 16 minutes 36.3 seconds and the Panthers freshman helped Milwaukee to a perfect team score of 15, meaning they took the top-5 spots in the race. Valders Vikings coach Bill Dietrich told Seehafer News there were some former high school teammates who made the trip to watch Wenzel & were there “running-the-course cheering him on.”
