Lorraine A. Ebenhoe, age 72, a Manitowoc resident went to her eternal home, Wednesday morning, September 5, 2018 at The Bay at Northridge Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Lorraine was born on December 9, 1945 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Edward and Charlotte (Backhaus) Ebenhoe. She grew up in Kellnersville attending St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Kellnersville and graduated with the class of 1965 from Reedsville High School. Lorraine worked for Mirro for many years until her retirement due to illness. Lorraine was an avid biker enjoying her bicycle rides with her many challenges due to her cancer. She also enjoyed bowling and square dancing. Lorraine also loved to play games with her many friends and relatives. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and the St. Clare Society.
She is survived by four sisters and three brothers: Jane Ebenhoe, Manitowoc; Marilyn (Jerry) Neuser, Mishicot; Margaret “Marge” Phillip (Don Micke), Forest Junction; LindaJean Ebenhoe, Green Bay; Ralph (Bonnie) Ebenhoe, Menomonee Falls; Marvin (Millie) Ebenhoe, Manitowoc; Joe (Kitina) Ebenhoe, Orange, CA; one sister-in-law: Lynn Ebenhoe, Manitowoc, as well nieces, nephews and many friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Charlotte Ebenhoe; four brothers: Ronald Ebenhoe, Edward Ebenhoe, Howard Ebenhoe and infant brother, Roger Ebenhoe; one brother-in-law: Dennis Phillip; one nephew: Christopher Neuser.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 10, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, 1416 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc. Rev. Jose Lopez will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Kellnersville. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 4:00 p.m. led by Deacon Alan Boeldt. Visitation will continue on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
