Eileen M. Senglaub, age 76, of Manitowoc, passed away peacefully, Sunday afternoon, September 9, 2018 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc surrounded by her loving family.
Eileen was born on September 6, 1942 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Sherman and Grace (Kohout) O’Connell. She attended local area schools and graduated with the class of 1960 from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On August 11, 1962, Eileen married John D. Senglaub at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She worked in Media Sales for over 25 years until her retirement. Eileen was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish on Waldo and enjoyed volunteering both at the church and school.
She is survived by her husband: John Senglaub, Manitowoc; three sons and three daughters-in-law: Dean (Pat) Senglaub, Manitowoc, and their children: Robbie and Isabella; Scott (Susan) Senglaub, Manitowoc, and their children: Collin and his special friend: Haley Jackson, Kristin, Leah and Claire Wang; Todd (Toni) Senglaub, Mequon, and their son: John “Jack”; twin sister and brother-in-law: Aldene (David) Wilhelm, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Sherman and Grace O’Connell.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. David Pleier will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial of her cremated remains will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Roncalli High School or St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
