Alice M. Khail, 96, a lifelong resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Laurel Grove Assisted Living in Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo, 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Doug LeCaptain, with entombment taking place at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
Relatives and friends may call at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 9:30 am until 10:45 a.m.
Alice is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Kim Khail, Manitowoc; two grandchildren: Kristin Khail, Wauwatosa, WI; and Scott (Niccole) Khail, Madison, WI; and one great grandson, Luca Khail. Additionally, Alice is survived by a sister, Elaine Holschbach, Manitowoc; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Alice was preceded in death by her parents: Louis and Alice (Coutley) Gauthier; her husband, Melvin, along with three brothers and four sisters including Earl Gauthier, Richard Gauthier, Edward Gauthier, Sylvia Gauthier, Dorothy Gauthier, Viola Gauthier, and Louise Sheraski.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Alice’s name to the Wounded Warriors Project.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
