Honor Flight Leaving Green Bay Today, With Packer Alumni

Several area veterans are boarding a plane this morning, along with several Packer alumni. This will mark the first ever Old Glory Honor Flight, “Flight of Champions” and will see each of the vets be accompanied by a companion, including the likes of Mark Tauscher, Paul Coffman, Marco Rivera, and Lynn Dickey. The group left at 6:30 this morning, and spend the day touring the war memorials in Washington DC, before returning home this evening. The flight is scheduled to return at around 8:30, and the public is being encouraged to be there when they return. Those wishing to participate are being asked to arrive at Austin Straubel Airport no later than 7:30 PM. Free parking is available.
