Robert D. Malzahn, age 84, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at his residence. Bob was born on Aug. 16, 1934 in Manitowoc. He was the son of the late Edwin and Alberta Robbins Malzahn. Bob owned and operated R.D. Malzahn Painting and Decorating. On March 30, 1957 he married Ruth Kuester in Green Bay. He was a member of Lakeshore United Methodist Church, First Kiwanis, and Master Builders Association, Bob volunteered as a driver for Aurora Medical Center.
He Is survived by his wife of 61 years: Ruth; one son: Michael (Melissa) Malzahn, Shaumburg, IL; two daughters: Lori lbiebele, Manitowoc; Cindi (Jeff) Ritter, Monroe; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Shirley Seidl.
A Life Celebration Social for relatives and friends will be held Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 2 p.m.to 4 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
