UPDATE: As of 8:30am on Wednesday, December 5th, the Joint Dispatch Center is again experiencing issues with the non-emergency lines for the Manitowoc Sheriffs Department, Manitowoc Police, Kiel Police, and Two Rivers Police due to an ongoing phone company issue
The Manitowoc County Joint Dispatch Center had trouble with their non-emergency phone lines during the day and into last evening. Callers were unable to hear-or-understand the dispatchers over those lines. Technicians worked on the problem and Tuesday night at about 9:30 pm, Joint Dispatch was again able to clearly communicate with those callers. So, this morning all emergency and non-emergency phone lines are fully functional. 9-1-1 emergency callers were not affected by the outage.
