Major Changes Coming To Tony’s Pizza, Including A New Name

Some major changes are coming next week to an existing restaurant in Manitowoc.  Mark Weston, the new owner of Tony’s Pizza, at 2204 Washington Street, tells Seehafer News he has leased the building since May of last year.

So, as Weston explains, “they’ve decided to take this in a whole new direction.”

He also spoke about the ‘new name’, effective January 31^st.

Weston told us that he’s been in the restaurant industry for about 43-years.

The new owner says he’s had several Italian items on the menu at his other restaurant in Kewaunee, Gib’s on the Lake, but “he really wants to focus on showing people what it’s like to go to Italy.”  The soon to be Casa di Amici will be open Tuesday thru Thursday 3 pm-until-9 pm, Friday from 3 pm-‘til-10 pm and Saturday and Sunday starting at 11 am.  The phone number is 68GREAT (684-7328)….and you can check out the menu online at 68GREAT.com.
