The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and UW-Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus will both be holding separate screenings for a film entitled “Milwaukee 53206”. The film project chronicles the lives of those residing within the zip code with the highest percentage of incarcerated black men in the nation. Through personal stories of three residents living in the 53206 zip code, this film examines how people live with the daily effects of mass incarceration. The screening in Green Bay will be held on Tuesday February 26th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the Christie Theater. Sheboygan Campus’ showing will be on Friday February 22nd at 7:00 PM at the University Theater. Both of these events are free and open to the public.
