UW-Green Bay-Manitowoc Campus hosted the Manitowoc Area Senior High School Boys Basketball All-Star Game yesterday. The East beat the West 118-101, with Patrick Suemnick of Denmark, led the winners with 27 points. He was also named the Game’s Defensive MVP, won both the Dunk & Three Point contests. Zane Short of Denmark paced the West team with 32 points & was named the Offensive MVP. Cory Garceau of Manitowoc Lutheran won the Sportsmanship Award while Ethan Jagemann of Roncalli took home the Hustle Award. Sam Fricke & Mason Korslin of Manitowoc served as coaches of the West team, while Ryan Kubsch of Manitowoc coached the East. UW-Green Bay/Manitowoc Athletic Director Joel Kubsch coordinated Sunday’s event, which was well-attended by community members & parents.
