Mayor Justin Nickels unveiled the logo representative of Manitowoc’s 150th anniversary to be celebrated next year. The winning design was created by Anita Stietz of Manitowoc and was chosen from a citywide contest held this summer. Mayor Nickels says her design best exemplified and reflected on the city’s past, present and future that will be a very important part of Manitowoc’s continued history. Stietz’s design will be used leading up to next year’s 150th anniversary as well as throughout all next year on promotional materials, the city’s website, social media and more.
