A 38-year-old Green Bay man tells police he thought he’d hit a deer, but the deer ran off. Chad Scott is charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle. When the police came to the crash site Saturday they found the body of 43-year-old Derrick Lyshon Murphy of Green Bay. If he is convicted of all three of the charges he faces, Scott could go to prison for 60 years. Scott said he stopped the car and walked around looking for the deer, but he admits he spent less than two minutes doing that. He also admits he smoked two bowls of marijuana before the accident.
