A 19 year old Appleton woman had an academic year to remember, as she graduated from both high school and college in the same calendar year.
Macey Pingel walked across the stage with her Chilton High School classmates back in June, and last Friday, took part in her second commencement ceremony at Fox Valley Technical College.
She was able to do this by utilizing the Start College Now program, which allows students to earn both high school and college credits at the same time.
The most astonishing part of this story is that Pingel also worked full time, and is graduating debt free.
Her academic career is not over however, as she is now going to attend UW Green Bay as a junior.
