High school students from Washington, Sheboygan, Fond du Lac and Ozaukee Counties are being invited to participate in the 1st Annual Community Youth Voice Conference.
The conference will focus on post-secondary gaps, youth engaged elections, healthy relationships for teens, and aging friendly communities.
UW-Madison Extension Professor, Sarah Tarjeson said they were holding the conference because “Kids don’t think that adults want to hear from them, but we not only want to, we need to.”
The event will take place from March 14th through the 17th, at a cost of $200 per student.
That cost includes lodging at Sheboygan’s Blue Harbor Resort, transportation during the conference, meals and all activities throughout the experience.
