The Manitowoc Lincoln Ships Girls Gymnastics Team captured their fifth consecutive Eastern Valley Conference Championship last night. Coach Jacque Bartow’s squad scored 133.075 points. Valders/Roncalli finished second with 128.5. Sheboygan North/South placed third followed by Oshkosh-Markesan and Kaukauna. Caroline Ramminger captured three conference titles for Ships placing first on bars, floor and all around. Ashley Block was runner-up on vault-floor and 5th in all around. Morgan Hofmeyer placed sixth on vault and floor and Jenna Miller finished sixth on bars. The Ships now prepare for WIAA Division One Sectionals that will be held in Hartford next Saturday at 11 a.m.
