Shortly after Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers announced there are 46 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the state – health officials bumped the number up to 47.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services says several patients are currently in critical condition.
As of Monday afternoon, more than 500 test results have come back negative. Wisconsin reportedly has the ability to perform 400 tests a day and it typically takes one-to-two days to get the results.
Evers says he is working on legislation concerning the virus and could ask lawmakers to return to the Capitol, but he’s not saying what the legislation would cover.
