In an attempt to quell the spread of the corona virus, the City of Sheboygan has closed off all city buildings to the public.
City Administrator Darrell Hofland said that this is a short-term policy, and that the city will reassess the measure on a weekly basis. All essential services, such as fire, police, garbage and Shoreline Metro are continuing to be in service but are subject to change.
Also, the City of Sheboygan/Village of Kohler Municipal Court has cancelled all appearances for the time being.
The Mead Public Library and all city parks have also been closed to the public.
Anyone who rented a facility at any city park will be refunded the full amount via check through the mail.
