Manitowoc Lincoln High School Senior Madalynn Buchner has signed her letter of intent to be part of the UW-Oshkosh Track and Field team.
Maddie, the daughter of Derrick and Shannon, specializes in the High Jump and is a double-letter winner in Track and Field at Lincoln.
She said, “I’m extremely excited to announce that I’ll be (competing) for UW-Oshkosh.” She continued “a huge thank you to all the coaches, teammates and family members who supported me throughout my athletic career. Go Titans!”
Maddie, who has two brothers attending Oshkosh, said she also had interest shown 
in her by Division-1 and 2 schools.
Buchner is also involved in Dance at Lincoln, is Vice-President of National Honor Society, and is part of various school clubs.
She’s planning to major in chemistry and minor in education.
Above all, she’s hopeful of returning to school in the near future, and competing in her senior year of track with a goal of qualifying for State in the High Jump. Maddie told SeehaferNews.com she’s been doing workouts of running and lifting to prepare for that possibility.
