The Wisconsin Department of Health reports that there are now 707 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Wisconsin. There have been 8 deaths in the state due to the virus.
As of this morning, there are 0 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Manitowoc County. Manitowoc County Emergency Services Director, Travis Waack says they have received about 45 negative test results.
People with confirmed infections have a range of symptoms.
Wisconsin DHS says Symptoms of the virus may include:
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
- Sore throat
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
Not everyone with COVID-19 has all of these symptoms. For many, symptoms are mild, with no fever. It is important to know that you can still spread (transmit) the virus to others even if you have mild or no symptoms.
