Many businesses have had to make changes to the way they operate due to the COVID-19 pandemic, including restaurants, grocery stores, and libraries.
The Mead Public Library in Sheboygan has been continuing to adapt but have run into a few roadblocks along the way.
While the Board of Trustees wanted to provide curbside pickup for residents in the city, it was decided to not do that due to the no-contact protocols that were put in place.
So, they decided to discuss the possibility of electronic delivery, but when the board started to discuss it, the electronic conferencing system failed and the five board members who were attending remotely were disconnected.
Contact was restored, but the board decided to revisit the issue once everything becomes more clear.
They are hoping to resolve the issues in the next couple of weeks.
