COVID-19 has claimed it’s first life in Sheboygan County.
According to a report from the Sheboygan County Department of Health Services, the individual who died from the virus was one of the three residents of the Sunny Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sheboygan, who contracted the virus, along with one of the employees.
The remaining three individuals at the Center are in isolation, and are being closely monitored by the Division of Public Health.
It is possible that more cases of the virus will show up in the employees and residents of the home, but at this point no new cases were confirmed.
Reports indicate that Sunny Ridge is working with government officials to help limit the spread within their staff and residents.
