As of yesterday afternoon, six more cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Sheboygan County, bringing their total number up to 32.
While a majority of the confirmed cases (2/3rds) were found in people aged 60 years or older, one of these new confirmed cases was in an individual under the age of 20.
Also, another resident at Sunny Ridge Nursing home in Sheboyygan died from complications from the virus, bringing the total death count up to 2.
A total of 19 of the 32 confirmed cases stem from Sunny Ridge.
Health Officials are continuing to ask people to remain at home if possible, but if you must go out, practice proper social distancing, and wear a mask.
