The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state is approaching three thousand as of Thursday.
More than half of the positive test results have come from Milwaukee County and 67 and of the 116 deaths blamed on the virus were also in that county.
State health officials report more than 31,000 test results have resulted in a negative reading.
29% of the confirmed cases have resulted in hospitalization.
The Safer at Home order is in effect through the end of the month, but D-H-S Secretary-designate Andrea Palm says it could be extended if the COVID-19 cases continue to increase.
