While the number of COVID-19 cases in Sheboygan County is still going up, the rise is slow and steady, just as the health care community would prefer it.
Obviously, it would be much better if no one got the virus, but since it is still spreading, the slow rate at which it is increasing is a positive, because hospitals are not being overwhelmed by an influx of patients.
One new case was confirmed yesterday in Sheboygan County while one more person fully recovered, leaving their total number of cases at 34.
19 people have fully recovered, and 74 tests have come back negative.
No new cases were reported in Manitowoc County, who is still reporting only 3 confirmed cases.
